As we ease out of autumn and head into winter, it’s important to make sure your car is ready for the change in season. In this edition, we’re sharing tips to prep your Porsche for colder weather, why a brake service could be your best investment this month, and our top Porsche care tip to keep things running smoothly.
Here’s to clear skies, warm engines, and cars that are as ready for winter as you are.
Preparing your Porsche for Winter
As the chill sets in, now’s the time to think about how the change in season can affect your Porsche.
Is your coolant at the right level and mixture? Is your battery holding a strong charge? Are your windscreen wipers still doing their job—or just smearing things around? And don’t forget to top up your washer fluid to handle frosty morning drives.
If you’re not sure where to start, we’re here to help. Book a quick check-in and we’ll make sure your Porsche is ready for the colder months ahead.
What Exactly Is a Brake Service?
Think of it as a full health check for one of your Porsche’s most critical systems.
A proper brake service covers more than just worn pads—we inspect the rotors, callipers, and brake fluid too. If the pads are thin, we’ll replace them. If the rotors are warped or worn, we’ll resurface or swap them. And we’ll check and replace the fluid if it’s old or contaminated.
It’s all about giving you peace of mind, sharper stopping power, and a safer, smoother drive.
Our Porsche Care Tip of the Month
Let’s talk battery health
You service your Porsche, but when last did you check your battery health? A quick voltage test could save you from getting stuck in the cold.
A healthy battery should read 12.6V or higher.
Anything below 12.4V means it’s time for a closer look.
We use a CTEK Battery Analyser to assess your battery’s condition — you want to see a GOOD result. If it needs a boost, we recharge it safely with a CTEK Smart Charger to keep your Porsche performing at its best.
Stay charged. Stay moving.
