From expert Porsche servicing and engine rebuilds to complete restorations, RS Autosport has been the heart of Porsche passion and performance in South Africa since 1998. This is where your Porsche journey becomes unforgettable.

Back in 1993, Rob Scott kickstarted the journey of RS Autosport, and he’s been the go-to guy for all things Porsche ever since.

With over 30 years of experience under his belt, he’s the master behind servicing and rebuilding Porsches. Originally, our business revved up in Wynberg before shifting gears to Bryanston. Fast forward to 2015, and we found our current workshop, a sprawling 1,800 square meters of Porsche paradise.

Rob takes the wheel when it comes to car services, engine rebuilds, restoration projects, and any Porsche modifications. If there’s a Porsche question in South Africa, Rob’s the man with the answers.

In 2015, Anton Roux bought the workshop after a 35-year ride in the corporate world. While he’s busy keeping RS Autosport running smoothly, he’s also the Chairman of Motorsport South Africa NPC and a Senate member of the FIA.

He is also a non-executive director on boards of various companies where he sometimes fulfil the role as Chairman of Audit and Risk Committees. Anton’s lifelong love affair with cars, combined with his corporate background, has fuelled the tremendous growth of RS Autosport over the years.

Our pit crew comprises seven qualified Porsche mechanics, each with their own unique skills. Some are engine whisperers, some are restoration artists, some work wonders with fabrication, and others are electronic gurus. We’ve even got technicians specialising in modern cars, making our team as versatile as a Swiss army knife.

In 2015, we rolled into our current digs, where we share the asphalt with an exclusive car dealership, a new and used car dealership, an AMG Specialist workshop, a mobile detailing centre and a vehicle storage facility.

Our goal was to create a mix of tenants under one roof that complement each other, and boy, did we rev that engine.
