WPMC MARSHALS COVID-19 RELIEF FUND

The Western Province Motor Club marshals at Killarney International Raceway stand out on the circuit all day on race and practice days, in all conditions and in all weathers, ensuring the safety of the competitors. Without them, race events would not be possible.

The WPMC marshals have supported motorsport with unwavering commitment throughout the history of Killarney; now it's our turn to support them and show our appreciation for their efforts.

Like all of us, they have been adversely affected during the nationwide lock-down to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in South Africa and this has prompted us to follow the example set by other circuits around South Africa in setting up a relief fund for the WPMC marshals.

Cash donations can be made to the Western Province Motor Club's Nedbank account No 123 204 1807, branch code 123 209, with the reference “COVID 2020 + Your Name”.

We agree with Classic 911 South Africa 🙏🏼

We often recommend a 911SC as an awesome entry level classic for the first timer but then we’ve also built a 50th anniversary tribute SC worth big money. Incredible all round car 🙏🏼 Will always have one in our personal collection.

What’s your take on this iconic Porsche? In my opinion, the 911SC is probably the nicest classic 911’s to own and drive 🏁🏁

We’ve touched on this before in one of our newsletters!Did you know that heavy keychains can be damaging to your ignition.

How does the heavy weight affect the ignition?

🔑 With the weight of multiple keys, keychains and remotes added to the car keys, making it difficult to put the key in the ignition.

🔑 The weight can pull downwards on the car key, causing the tumblers in the ignition switch to wear out over time.

What can you do to avoid damaging your ignition?

🔑 Remove all heavy keys and keychains.

🔑 Rather use a seperate key ring with all your house keys, remotes and keychains.

🔑 Use a light keychain instead, if you really need to have one on your car keys.
